David Rodriguez - Director, Quality Assurance

Quality—it's what we all want and it's my responsibility to make sure we provide it for our customers. Attaining and maintaining quality would be easy if everything stood still, but since that's not the case, my team and I have the exciting challenge of examining our products to ensure they meet our high standards before we introduce them to the public. We get to try and break stuff all day long and get paid to do it—what more can you ask for?

I joined Inovis in December, 2006, after nearly twenty years in the software industry doing Quality Assurance. My career has taken me to some very cool companies including one of the first cellular companies (that's what it was called before "wireless"), an "ultimate" foreign car maker, and a large cable television channel that does the weather 24/7.

Outside the office I spend time trying to balance the dizzying effects of having both teenagers and toddlers in the same house. When the family is settled I sneak away to participate in one of my real passions—PC Gaming. I've been an avid gamer for as long as I can remember (don't know if the Atari 2600 counts, but I went through dozens of joysticks on the way to my current setup) and will keep up on the latest technologies required to play the latest "it" games. I also play racquetball regularly and attend as many Atlanta Thrashers hockey games as I can.
