David Smith - Customer Service Manager
I grew up in West Virginia, and attended West Virginia University. Following many hours spent studying Chemistry and General Science, and working as a Lab Assistant in the Pharmacology department, I naturally moved into a career in IT immediately after school, and have been on this path ever since.
I moved to Atlanta in the early 80’s, and spent the next few years on the road installing and supporting Property Management Software in Resorts and Hotels across the United States. After a brief interim stint as a programmer with a local consulting firm, I moved back into an Installation / Support / Account Management role with another Atlanta-based firm; one providing Sales Force Automation (CRM) software to Pharmaceutical sales forces. In August 2005, I moved into an Implementation Consultant position at Inovis, followed in early 2006 by a move into my current CSM role leveraging my Implementation, Support and Account Management background.
I currently live outside of Atlanta with my wife, daughter, and two dogs. I enjoy WVU football – especially the past two post-seasons. (Sorry about that Georgia / Georgia tech fans!) I am looking forward to updating this section of the bio in early 2008. I try to enjoy the occasional hunting season back in West Virginia when visiting my parents. I play ALTA tennis, and play on the Inovis Alpharetta softball team. One of the most fun, spur-of-the-moment things I’ve recently done was to fly to Paris for less than a day this summer.
