I have been at Inovis for almost 9 years, primarily serving in Customer Support and L2 Software Support Management roles. I currently manage the L2 Desktop and Enterprise Software Support teams located in Concord, CA, Irvine, CA and our corporate office in Alpharetta, GA. I know that 9 years in the same office and department may seem like the exception nowadays, but I'm fortunate to work in an environment where a number of us have been here for a long time.
The average tenure on my Enterprise team is over 7 years and we're like family. We spend a great deal of time together both in and out of the office. Over the years we have established some tight relationships with several of our TLE customers as many of them have them have been with us and working with TLE even longer than we have. This is one of the joys and favorite parts of the job; helping our customers in their success and learning from each other along the way. We truly are a team and have established some great partnerships along the way.
Growing up I spent much of my time playing sports or singing. So, prior to being in the technical arena I explored a different path in life. I was a musician, singer and song-writer. I had my own band and played up and down the west coast for much of my adult life. Boy, could I tell you some stories about my time in the recording industry! But, that's for another time. I also managed health clubs, managed night clubs and worked as a booking agent; sold cars, sold software, and ventured into a few other endeavors over the years... Outside the office, it's all about sports, motorcycles, and music. I've been a die hard Oakland Raiders, A's and Warriors fan since I was a young boy...It's all about working hard and making time to play hard too!
