Wendy Parker - Events Coordinator

I came to Inovis as the Events Coordinator in December 2007 and I can honestly say there hasn't been a dull moment since I got here. Tradeshows, Road Shows, Internal meetings and events-you name it-I am working on it! Often times my cube looks like the mail room with packages coming and going to events and shows. I love it and wouldn't have it any other way.

My event planning days started way back in college when I interned for a resort in the Florida Keys. I worked in the activities department planning recreational activities for the guests. After college I made my way through various Marketing jobs before coming back to what I enjoy most-planning events. My past roles include Marketing Communications (MCI and then MCI WorldCom), Content Strategist and Business Analyst (during the dotcom days) and most recently Project Manager and Event Management (CheckFree).

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I have two small children that keep me busy and my husband and I love to travel! We enjoy being outside and being with friends. I play tennis and am very involved in many neighborhood and church committees where...you guessed it...I enjoy planning the various social events.
