QRS Names Seasoned Enterprise Applications Executive Joseph Dugan as New Head of Global Sales

RICHMOND, Calif. – April 15, 2002 – QRS Corporation (Nasdaq: QRSI), a market leader in supply chain technology for the retail industry, announced today the appointment of Joseph Dugan as senior vice president of global sales. A seasoned supply chain management executive with significant experience in managing global sales organizations, Dugan will lead QRS' sales efforts worldwide and will oversee a team of sales professionals covering all QRS products and services.

Dugan has held senior positions with consulting and software applications companies, where he helped transform worldwide sales organizations into high-performance revenue generators. At AnswerThink Consulting and Trinity Corp., Dugan led specialty divisions in supply chain and e-business solutions and developed software and services sales programs for customers across many industries. Dugan spent four years at Oracle Corp. as vice president of worldwide advanced applications in charge of selling enterprise application products and services to Fortune 100 companies. At Cambridge Technology Group, Dugan oversaw sales and marketing and was responsible for implementations of advanced client-server and UNIX technologies, working jointly with companies including Hewlett-Packard, SAP, Unisys, AT&T and IBM. Most recently, Dugan was president and CEO of World Commerce Online, a business-to-business provider of e-commerce technology solutions for managing global supply chains.

Throughout his 20-year career, Dugan has worked with companies across many industries, including, within the retail and consumer packaged goods sectors, Saks Inc., Neiman Marcus Group Inc., adidas-Salomon AG, Royal Ahold N.V., Dansk Inc., Estee Lauder Cos. Inc., Nestlé S.A. and Toshiba Corp. He has driven all segments of the global sales process, including strategy, sales development, demand generation, large enterprise and mid-market sales, and international market development in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

QRS also announced today that Joyce Kim has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing. Kim joined QRS in January 2002 as vice president of product management and marketing. In her new role, Kim will be responsible for product strategy and management, product alliances, and marketing communications and services. Prior to QRS, Kim served as vice president of marketing and product management for Internet performance software company NetVMG, where she was responsible for the definition and complete life cycle of the company's products and services. Kim also has extensive experience with the retail industry through her work at Deloitte Consulting and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where she helped industry leaders such as Ralph Lauren/Polo.com, Nestlé and Gap in areas of customer acquisition, product positioning, product launch programs and customer relations.
