Inovis Data Transformation Products Achieve UCCnet Certification
Inovis Now Offers UCCnet-Certified Software and Network Communications
ATLANTA
(January 13, 2003) — Inovis™, an enabler of B2B communities,
today announced that it has achieved UCCnet certification for
its hosted and licensed software solutions in the areas of
communications and message translation. The new
certification extends to inovis:Transformation software, which
includes the TrustedLink family and products formerly known as
Power.Enterprise!™ and Power.Commerce!™
In
September 2002, Inovis also announced UCCnet 2.1 network service
certification for the inovis:Access™ global trading network
(formerly Get2Connectsm).
Companies
in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry can now rely on
Inovis for fast and cost-efficient connectivity to UCCnet, as
well as seamless data exchange with trading partners using
either licensed software or managed network services.
“Inovis
is committed to enabling e-business for trading partners of all
sizes,” said Inovis CEO and President Dave Williams.
“This unique combination of value-added network and software
certification strengthens our role as the trusted intermediary
for CPG manufacturers and retailers desiring UCCnet
compliance.”
Inovis:Transformation
licensed software products are ideal for CPG companies with an
existing item master or catalog, seeking a quick and economical
way of achieving UCCnet synchronization. Alternatively,
Inovis hosted solutions offer companies of all sizes the ability
to outsource their UCCnet compliance initiative, while gaining
technical- and cost-efficiencies. For small to mid-sized
CPG companies, the inovis:Access VAN is well-suited for
providing EDI and UCCnet messaging capabilities while avoiding
the costs of building an in-house e-commerce infrastructure.
According
to Fred Geiger, Sr. Vice President at UCCnet, “Inovis
offerings allow companies to become more easily UCCnet-ready for
e-business. Today’s announcement of expanded UCCnet
certifications demonstrates the company’s continuing
commitment to standards-based e-commerce practices.”
UCCnet
is rapidly gaining popularity as an open platform for
collaborative commerce. Item registry and data
synchronization through UCCnet enable suppliers to communicate
new or changed product data, ensuring that all trading partners
use identical, accurate and standardized item information.
