QRS Named A Top 10 Leading Supply Chain Management Company by Aberdeen Group
RICHMOND, Calif.
– February 06, 2003 – QRS Corporation (Nasdaq: QRSI) announced today that it was selected by the Aberdeen Group as one of the leading public supply chain management companies. Aberdeen ranked QRS eighth in its Third Quarter 2002 Supply Chain 50 – the only holistic industry analysis of publicly traded supply chain management (SCM) technology providers. QRS' top 10 status reflects its reputation as a leading provider of collaborative commerce solutions for the global retailing industry.
The Supply Chain 50 rewards companies based on third quarter financial information, weighing a number of factors including profitability posture and improvements, market share gains and revenue growth over the past quarter.
Aberdeen selected QRS due largely to its return to profitability in the third quarter of 2002. At the same time that it strengthened its financial performance, QRS increased its content management capabilities through a partnership with UCCnet and expanded its trading community management offering to support AS2 protocols.
"We are very pleased to be recognized by Aberdeen for our 2002 achievements," said Liz Fetter, CEO of QRS. In 2003, we will continue to deliver the results that earned us this honor as we build the foundation for future growth."
