Inovis Customers Learn Best Practices for Global

The event, which took place in Atlanta, provided customers with insight into effective strategies for improving trading relationships in order to successfully navigate the business challenges of the global marketplace.

Innovation 2005 featured more than 50 educational sessions presented by customers, industry thought-leaders and Inovis executives. The sessions covered a wide range of topics and trends, including new data synchronization and RFID initiatives; hosted business-to-business application integration; evolving industry standards; global supply chain management; data security in relation to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; transaction lifecycle visibility; and the Global Data Synchronization Network.

Inovis customers AGL Resources, Bell Canada, Dillard's, Estée Lauder, ICON Health & Fitness, Petzl America and Recochem shared best practices for leveraging B2B solutions and services to foster trading community collaboration and maximize return on investment. Other notable presentations included keynote addresses by L. Frank Kenney, principal analyst research, Gartner Research; Benoit Lheureux, research director, Gartner Research; and Linda Cole, iSeries tools innovation manager, IBM. In addition, a motivational keynote presentation was delivered by nationally featured comedian Don McMillan.
