Inovis Positioned in the Leader Quadrant in Analyst Firm's 1Q06 Integration Service Provider Magic Quadrant
ATLANTA, GA - February 1, 2006 — Inovis, a leading provider of business-to-business solutions and services, announced today that market research firm Gartner, Inc. has positioned Inovis in the Leader quadrant in its January 2006 report titled "Magic Quadrant for Integration Service Providers, 1Q06."* The Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors on completeness of vision and ability to execute, and uses selection criteria based on vendor and product capabilities, breadth and depth.
The report summarized evaluation of more than 12 vendors in the hosted integration services market based on the following criteria: revenue; communications; integration; application and trading partner management features; financial commitment; product capabilities; distribution and support; and market position and mind share. According to Gartner, "leaders" are vendors that are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.
"We believe being positioned in the Leader quadrant for integration service providers confirms our continued market momentum, expertise and company strength," said Sean Feeney, President and CEO of Inovis. "Through our industry-leading B2B platform, Inovis helps retailers, suppliers and manufacturers of all sizes optimize supply chain management, and we feel Gartner's recognition of Inovis in the leader's quadrant is further evidence that we are successfully executing on our strategy."
According to the report, "The traditional electronic data interchange, value-added network era has come to an end. Changing user requirements and innovation have forced vendors to evolve into integration service providers with a wider range of hosted integration and application features." The report continued, "Integration service providers continue to innovate and consolidate as users expand and increase the sophistication of their business-to-business (B2B) projects."
For over two decades, Inovis has offered hosted integration services through its value-added network (VAN), Inovisworks, to optimize supply chain management by enabling our customers to connect and integrate with diverse trading communities around the world.
