Inovis Partners with Proginet to Extend Managed File Transfer Portfolio
Atlanta, GA — July 287, 2009 — Inovis today announced a strategic agreement with Proginet Corporation [OTCBB: PRGF], a leader in multi-platform file transfer solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Inovis will resell Proginet solutions and integrate Proginet capabilities into the Inovis Managed File Transfer (MFT) Platform.
The Inovis MFT Platform is delivered as a software application or as a software-as-a-service (MFTaaS), and provides enterprises with six core services to manage file transfer governance, risk and compliance, including: provisioning, visibility, monitoring, validation, enforcement and measurement.
The agreement adds the following capabilities to the Inovis MFT Platform:
Cross-Platform File Transfer Server, enabling secure, controlled file-transfer activity on all platforms, so that all files are tracked before leaving the server. Businesses can transfer critical business files between applications, integrate data from a network of stores or branch locations, or send large files to an offshore data center at speeds 30 times faster than file transfer protocol (FTP).
Internet File Transfer Server, enabling organizations to securely exchange information over the Internet while maintaining centralized security and control. Support for multiple communication protocols make it an ideal solution for integrating with global customers and trading partners. Major compliance mandates are supported, such as Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley and FIPS 140-2.
Enterprise-class Email Attachment Service, enabling end-users to exchange files of any size while using Microsoft Outlook, while providing IT groups with support for centralized security and compliance.
Accelerated File Transfer Service, enabling faster file exchanges by overcoming the detrimental effects of network latency found in Internet file transfers. Rocketstream is capable of file transfer speeds of more than 200 times faster than traditional FTP, shortening file transfer times and eliminating the need for extra hardware purchases.
