Inovis Named a Leader in B2B Service Providers by Independent Research Firm

Atlanta, GA — November 2, 2009 — Inovis, a global provider of business-to-business integration software and services, today announced it has been cited as a "Leader" in the industry report "The Forrester Wave™: B2B Service Providers, Q4 2009."
For the evaluation, Forrester Research selected 12 key B2B service providers from a market of more than 50 vendors. Vendors were chosen based on product fit, customer success and Forrester client demand and ranked on 85 criteria across current offering, strategy and market presence categories.
Inovis was cited as a Leader overall and received the highest score in the current offering category.
The report, authored by Ken Vollmer, states that "comprehensive integration solutions will be a crucial element needed to support increased enterprise agility over the next five years."

In the report, the core features of B2B service providers "remain the ability to support hosted document exchange for electronic data interchange (EDI), XML, flat files, spreadsheets and other types of data that organizations need to exchange with trading partners."
Some vendors were cited as leaders due to the "comprehensive nature of their vendors who provide business-to-business hosted document exchange and managed services that provide combined EDI/XML B2B integration (B2Bi), enterprise application integration (EAI), business process management (BPM), and managed file transfer (MFT) capabilities."
The report's current offering criteria, of which Inovis receive the highest score, focused on vendor capabilities in network services, communications services, community management, customer support, disaster recovery, delivery alternatives, managed services, hosted support for application integration, process integration and the availability of integrated managed file transfer (MFT).
