eBusinessReady™ eBusinessReady is an industry-neutral testing program for eBusiness software vendors that was launched in November 2001 to enable vertical and horizontal interoperability across the supply chain and distribution channels. For companies engaged in the growing electronic commerce marketplace, software interoperability is vital, and its absence can strongly inhibit supply chain implementations and add significant supply chain costs. This interoperability testing program allows different software offerings to work together in system-to-system communication for improved supply chain performance. The program, which is a joint partnership of the Uniform Code Council, Inc. (UCC) and Drummond Group, Inc. (DGI), brings together software vendors, exchanges, vertical industries, and the standards community in a neutral, standards-based testing environment that simulates real-world operating conditions.
RosettaNet
A self-funded, non-profit organization, RosettaNet is a consortium of major Information Technology, Electronic Components, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Telecommunications and Logistics companies working to create and implement industry-wide, open e-business process standards. These standards form a common e-business language, aligning processes between supply chain partners on a global basis. RosettaNet is a subsidiary of the Uniform Code Council, Inc. (UCC).
AIAG
The Automotive Industry Action Group is a globally recognized organization founded in 1982 by a group of visionary managers from DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company, and General Motors. The purpose: To provide an open forum where members cooperate in developing and promoting solutions that enhance the prosperity of the automotive industry. AIAG's focus is to continuously improve business processes and practices involving trading partners throughout the supply chain.
VICS
The
The Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Solutions (VICS) Association has enabled companies in the retail and consumer-focused industries to eliminate billions of dollars of waste and delay. By creating voluntary guidelines, often referred to as “standards,” VICS has created new best practices that ultimately lead to lower costs and better availability of products for consumers. VICS’ volunteer members improve the flow of products and information throughout retailing and the consumer-focused industries that supply retail.
